There's a boss for every major quest and many of the side quests, sometimes more than one. The hardest is the Arch Demon at the end of the game, but only because they purposely make it time consuming to kill. There a plenty, the arch demon being the hardest..but the other random demons go in this order of strength: Rage Demons, Sloth Demons, Desire Demons, and lastly the strongest of the common demons, Pride demons.
