How do i become the viscount in dragon age 2?

Ive played through dragon age 2 once on each difficulty but i cant figure out how to become the viscount. That's the only trophy i need to have all of the dragon age 2 trophies and get the platinum one. help please.How do i become the viscount in dragon age 2?
i just unlocked the achievement today. i sided with the templers and i got it. just go back to a save before you picked a side and do it that way. if it still doesnt work you might have to start a new game and side with the templers on a majority of issues.How do i become the viscount in dragon age 2?
